Character: Nora Trelawney
Game: Eternus Infinuum

Nimble fingers picked through a half-open box of supplies. Some might have sought prescription-strength painkillers, others might have searched for needles to supplement a habits. Nora Trelawney, bless her little Irish heart, only wanted a roll of gauze and a spot of ointment. The petite Fizzy blinked her large eyes in the blackness of the tiny room and continued her none-too-quiet search. Hidden in the right leg of her sweatpants, Nora's tail oozed dark blood and pus. A fall in the hallway had bruised her ankle and taken a generous layer of skin and hair from the end of her tail. Neglect and fear had allowed a simple injury to become infected to a point that Nora could no longer ignore.

Her sad collection of cleaning supplies lay outside the door of the closet. With all of the lights off and the wing relatively quiet in the early morning hours, Nora figured that she had enough time to find what she needed before the next shift came in at 6. She didn't want to answer questions from anyone at the hospital about her injury. Part of her despised having to steal, but what other option did she have? Go over to Maggie, the nurse on duty in the Pediatrics section, and say, 'Um, I think my tail's infected?'

Unlikely. Nora didn't trust anyone enough to show her eyes and ears, and she doubted people had tails. She'd seen other people with... differences, as she'd come to call them, walking late at night on her way to the hospital. They weren't welcome, and Nora couldn't afford to lose her job here. So, it would have to be ointment and bandages and silence.
