Physical Description

Hair: Fiery orange-red and impossibly frizzy, it hangs to the middle of her back when wet. If left to its own devices and enough hair fixative, it would be a shimmering curtain of flaming gold ringlets. Unfortunately, this would require time and effort, as well as an hour of morning preparation that Rybekka would rather spend asleep. As a result, it's usually kept away from her face in an elegant twist with a few tendrils framing her face. Amazing what can be done when one goes without the use of a hair dryer and has a handful of bobby pins. If she has to look formal, she'll take the time; otherwise, she prefers the severe and authoritative appearance of a French twist or a braided bun.
Eyes: Rybekka's eyes bear the color of the sky during the fiercest storms, an intense deep cobalt blue that conceals nothing from the observer. Even in stony silence, her eyes readily communicate what she's unable (or unwilling) to speak.
Skin: Pale, pale, pale. Rybekka's skin possesses a faint kiss of freckles across her nose, but nowhere else on her body. This is partially due to her tendency to shrug off any kind of outdoor activity, but also purely to genetics. Cygnians aren't know for their ability to tan.
Face: Framed by the ever-present stray ringlet, her face is somewhat childlike at first glance. Her nose is a bit too pixie-like for her own taste, but it provides her with a deceptively innocent expression when needed. Twin dimples at each corner of her mouth show on the rare occasions that she chooses to smile. Her lips are full and often set in a playful smirk that is accompanied by a delicately arched eyebrow. Due to her pale complexion, she is a firm believer in make-up and rarely leaves the house without at least mascara and a smattering of blush over her cheekbones.
Build: Nymph-like would be one way to describe the elegant way Rybekka holds herself; that is, if it wasn't for her ample 34C chest on her 5' frame. Her hourglass figure holds an adequate amount of muscle, yet she may appear 'soft' on first sight. She prides herself on her hands, which she finds to be her best feature (aside from her cleavage). She's very self-conscious about her backside, which she finds to be a little too round for her liking. This prevents her from wearing the classically elegant sheath dress, as it wrinkles in a few undesirable places.
General Appearance: Rybekka prides herself on a professional look coupled with a taste for the eclectic. She prefers a slightly more formal look, choosing tailored slacks and skirts and blouses over the more casual denim. Her prized possessions in her wardrobe include a full length black suede trenchcoat as well as a pair of form-fitting black leather pants. She does frown on clothing that reveals too much skin; she would prefer skintight rather than skin-visible. Formality demands sophistication, and she looks forward to the chance to don an elegant cocktail dress or flowing evening gown. with perfectly coordinated shoes, handbag, and jewelry, of course. Considering her taste and need for order, the regimented uniform of the Lunar Navy suits her quite nicely. She wears some jewelry, always gold, and has a diverse collection of rings. She also wears a rust-red scarf of woven silk about her neck, both a simple accessory and a clever weapon in the hands of a trained Senshi.

Emotional Description

Rybekka is nothing less than intense. Intense in speech, intense in work, intense in passion... nothing is ever done at less than one hundred percent. Her progression through the Sorcerors program only highlighted her drive to succeed and her passion for perfection. Practicing spells, spending hours in the gym in training, memorizing ship information, Rybekka put mind, heart, and soul into her efforts to become a Senshi. Having acheived that goal, she has devoted her life to service in the military, adhering to the codes of the Lunar Navy with command precision and strict interpretation.
Opinionated with a fair amount of pride and a sense of integrity, she is a demanding supervisor. Rybekka demands perfection and complete dedication from each of her team members. She is shrewd and relatively accurate in her judgements, with her 'command strategy' often involving anticipating her opponents' next move. Her intuition is only heightened by her innate telepathic abilities, and she relies on both in much of her decision making on the job. There is a confidence in her command, and Rybekka tends to be a bit dramatic in her displays on and off the bridge.
Rybekka's emotions are varied and extreme. Considering her military training, she tends to keep her more passionate displays under control. At the same time, those encountering her off the bridge may be subjected to her biting sarcasm or her vindictive nature. She is secretive and skeptical, always asking questions and seeking the 'deeper meaning' of any situation. These extremes also play into her affectionate nature, and anyone on the receiving end of such attentions will never want for affection. Rybekka is the type to devote herself entirely to a partner, risking her own well-being for the sake of that other half. A closet romantic, she can be a bit foolhardy in her amorous pursuits.
An enthusiastic young woman, she exudes confidence, integrity, and dignity in most everything she does. She does have a tendency to be bossy and overly-authoritative, but she will argue that such actions are necessarily for the stability of her crew. Rybekka's forceful nature might cause her to butt heads with her superiors, but she will never endanger the lives of those under her command. Her service is to the Lunar Kingdom, her loyalties are to her fellow officers, and her heart to a select few deemed worthy enough to endure her fiery and intense nature.

Who Are You?

"First Officer Rybekka Treacy, Sailor Tayet, reporting for duty. When the Captain isn't around, the ship and her crew answer to me. That's right, they answer to a Senshi who put in her time through the sorceror's program. Got a problem with that? Why do you want to know who I am, anyway? You could go and research my profile at the LISA headquarters. My file's not long, but it's descriptive and completely free of ANY violations... that includes dancing on bars and stripping, Captain. Catch me off the bridge, and maybe I'll give you more details over a drink, or two even. Don't waste my time, though..."

Hobbies

Rybekka's pasttimes involve reading military novels and constructing replicas of starships. She's somewhat of a model fanatic, and many of her better creations hang from the ceiling of her quarters. Rybekka crochets and embroiders to settle her nerves and makes it a point to run her swimming holosuite programs at least once a week to get a bit of exercise that doesn't involve sparring or spells. Rybekka is also a very good dart player, fantastically accurate with the custom set she bought upon entry into the Sorceror's program.

Friends and Acquaintances

The intense personality that Rybekka has cultivated makes it difficult for her to have any really close friends. Nevertheless, she counts Akiko Jittaino, Sailor Astraea, among her closest companions. How the two managed to get along, no one can figure out. Most people attribute it to Aki's gentle nature and Rybekka's fascination with the young woman's engineering skills. Rybekka is also extremely well-acquainted with the captain of the SLS Sapphire, Sergiss Krevann. The pair dated exclusively throughout their time at the Sorceror's program, but their relationship soured during a field test that pitted them against each other, with Rybekka utilizing her Cygnian abilities to embarrass Sergiss and win the bout. Given her nature, she probably knows and is known by many people, but there are few she would immediately call 'friends.'

Love Interest

Yeah, she still has a thing for Sergiss... like she'll ever say anything before he does. When they first broke up, she cried herself to sleep for a month straight. Rybekka loves those close to her intensely, and screwing up a relationship tends to send her to pieces for a long period of time. The opportunity to rekindle that relationship is tempting, but there's the duty to the Moon Kingdom, her position on the ship... and we know Rybekka is all about rules and duty.

History/Training

Rybekka was one of those 'surprises' that parents get when they've already assumed that their baby days are long past. Liamm and Ahryja Treacy found themselves with their oldest children graduating from the LISA Academy and their youngest still in diapers. Rybekka was often under the care of her older brother while her parents worked, with her father doing much of the housekeeping and child-tending and her mother earning the family's keep as an instructor at the LISA Academy, specializing in psionics. While all of Rybekka's siblings exhibited some kind of telepathic abilities, Rybekka was the only one to show any kind of telekinetic prowess. True, socks flying across the room weren't anything drastic, but it was enough to scare her brother and make her parents realize that their youngest would need extra attention.

Rybekka started at the Academy in a military capacity to hone her skills, stuck in the shadow of her sisters. True, Mirryam and Alarrya were skilled with languages, but Rybekka didn't take kindly to being reminded of that every time she failed a communications exam or forgot the proper Droylian translation for 'good morning.' Instead, she would hotly remind her instructors that she wasn't either one of her sisters, and that she would make a name for herself so that no one would see the need to compare her to her sisters. Such a temper often got her in trouble, and Rybekka spent many afternoons in additional sparring sessions or cleaning holotraining suites.

Given the chance to experiment with weapons in her third year at the Academy, Rybekka managed to become rather skilled with a whip. This resulted in countless hours of practice, with the teenager determined to master such a versatile weapon. That same year, she took the Senshi/Sorcerer Aptitude Battery Test with many other students, both at the LISA Academy and at other institutions throughout the GM. Unlike the rest of her siblings who took the exam, she passed it. Given the choice of going to the Tsukino College's Senshi program or taking the more rigorous training route of the Sorcerors, Rybekka chose the latter, still determined to prove the naysayers (as well as herself) that she could succeed beyond anyone's meager expectations.

Cadet training was difficult, but Rybekka's hunger pushed her through the program. While her progression didn't equal that of the legendary sorcerors that had gone before her, Rybekka did manage to acheive a rank of Archmage inside her first year. During this time, she attempted a communications cross-specialty, mastering the translation software and protocols rather than the actual languages. At the main training facility on Luna, she cultivated a somewhat ruthless reputation, voraciously acquiring new information and learning new spells as fast as anyone would teach her. Her fellow students branded her an aggressive scholar as well as a by-the-book student, known for learning every rule and executing orders to the letter, leaving little room for interpretation. While others wanted to be on her side academically and sought her out to join teams in military training missions, most found her too demanding and too detail-obsessed to consider anything close to a friendly relationship.

An evening that Rybekka had planned to spend playing darts wound up being her first introduction to a former shuttle pilot turned sorceror-in-training named Sergiss Krevann. Sergiss' inebriated strip session on the side of the bar prompted Rybekka to let lose a string of reasons why those who would become sorcerors shouldn't engage in such activity. In reply, Sergiss gave her the rather flippant remark that his show wasn't free, and consequently threw his shirt towards her. Enraged, Rybekka stopped the shirt mid-trajectory and sent it flying back such that it wrapped about his ankles and caused him to lose his balance.

Such confrontation led to a heated battle between the two, in and out of class. Sergiss' cloning ability provided Rybekka with countless visitations by either the real pilot or his counterpart, and Rybekka's fabric manipulation caused everything from untied shoelaces to suddenly loose pants that would drop around Sergiss' ankles seemingly of their own accord. This went on for nearly two months, until Sergiss caught her leaving Greynn's one night and remarked that her life must be pretty dull if this war of spells and tricks was the most exciting thing happening to her. His comment hit a rather sore spot, and Rybekka stalked off with a slew of telepathic remarks ringing in Sergiss' head that she didn't need anyone to judge her social life, much less some flamboyant pilot. Despite Rybekka's snippish remarks, Sergiss continued to visit her outside of class or arrive at Greynn's when she was just leaving. Any compliments about her clothing or appearance were usually met with a sniff and a rather haughty sidestep. A few comments managed to make her blush, but Rybekka never gave so much as a 'thank you.' As far as she was concerned, the war was still on.

Rybekka found her dart game interrupted one night when she saw Sergiss sit down at the table behind her, a drink in each hand. Eyes narrowed, she finished her game and turned to the young man. Before she could get out the first snide remark or flippant insult, Sergiss grabbed her arm and pulled her into his lap, kissing her thoroughly. Rybekka's telepathic protests turned into surprise, then blatant enjoyment. Pulling back, she arched an eyebrow at her admirer and invited him to stay for another game.

The pair dated exclusively for the next year, as the Test of the Crystal neared for both of them. The relationship was nothing less than intense, due to Rybekka's extreme emotions and Sergiss' outgoing and playful attitude. Academy training intensified, and it finally happened that they were set against each other. Rybekka's merciless combat strategy allowed her to win, but her tactics left Sergiss bound and gagged wearing only a pair of boxer shorts by the time expired for the scenario. Sergiss cornered her that evening, upset and telling her that she had screwed over his chances for graduating. Rybekka's reply that he still had to pass the test didn't help, and she coldly added that she wasn't going to alter her fighting style for a boyfriend. That prompted a screaming fight that ended with Sergiss storming out, Rybekka yelling after him telepathically before bursting into tears and sobbing into a shirt he'd left behind.

Communications training led Rybekka to accompany Sailor Astraea at the Skunk Works for the next two years, testing comm systems for ships under repair and upgrading systems with the most recently developed translators. She managed to open up to the petite engineer, the pair of them becoming rather good friends. Astraea found the time to help Rybekka train for her test, knowing that the young woman would make an ideal Senshi... if she'd only manage to relax once in a while.

Four months later, Rybekka emerged from the testing chamber as Sailor Tayet, bearing the insignia of a Sorceror on her right hand. She spent another few years with Sailor Astraea, filling in for the young woman when her Guardian duties pulled her away from the ships. A particularly grueling day overseeing repairs prompted her to submit a letter of reassigment, asking for a commission on a ship. All of her training, and she was spending it looking at metal giants day in and day out. Another week at the spaceport without Akiko proving trying, and Rybekka ended the day yelling at a crew of engineers who refused to adhere to the drawings that Astraea had drawn up. Mentally and physically exhausted, Rybekka only glanced at the reassignment letter delivered that evening to her modest apartment. After a long shower and an eighteen hour nap, she stared in shock at the official letterhead bearing the seal of the Lunar Navy and the instructions that she report to the spaceport for her briefing with the commanding officer of the SLS Sapphire, where she would serve as first officer.

First officer, reporting to the recently promoted Sorceror Rio... formerly known as Sergiss Krevann.

Main Character Warrior Information

Name: Sailor Tayet
Team / Affiliation: Golden Millennium

Physical Description

Tayet's fuku is done in rust red and copper colors. Jewelry (choker, tiara, hoop earrings) are a shining coppery color with no stone. Her standard Senshi collar is rust-red with a dual white stripe. Gauzy capped sleeves are the same color, as well as the bows at the front and back of her fuku. The bodysuit is best described as a corset, with large copper eyelets at the sides through which white strips of fabric are laced. The pleated skirt is rust-red, the same white dual stripe about the hem. Gloves are wrapped ribbons in her predominant color that reach to her elbows, with three six-inch pieces of free ribbon hanging down at the wrist for ornamentation. Heeled boots reach to mid-thigh, the same corset-type lacing done up the front with wide rust-red ribbon over similarly colored soft leather-like material.

Symbol: A crescent moon with a rust-red ribbon wrapped about it.

Transformation

Rybekka pinches the crescent moon insignia on her palm and pulls the skin towards her, calling the phrase, "Tayet Unbounded!" A rust-red ribbon (almost blood colored) emerges, rippling about and growing in size until it is several meters in length. With her crescent hand, she grabs the end of the ribbon and snaps it, the ribbon's end breaking into multiple ends that separate and tie down her hands and feet. The main ribbon races for her torso, wrapping itself about her and squeezing tightly. Additional ribbons of coppery light rush outwards from her open palms, wrapping about her to form gloves, boots, tiara, and choker. The sound of a whip cracking echoes as the ribbons burst in a shower of red and copper sparkling light, with Tayet stepping through the shower in her uniform, her own whip in her right hand with the other end pulled taut in the left.

Powers

**note: Tayet possesses limited telekinesis and full non-command telepathy in or out of Senshi form. As such, she is allotted a maximum of three Senshi powers.**

Power 1: Everbinding
How is it summoned: The phrase, "To be bound, forever bound," is whispered. Usually, Tayet does this telepathically, such that only the target hears it. When upset or in the heat of battle, she might bother to actually speak. Her left hand is held out in front, forefinger and middle finger together with the other fingers down and thumb in, as she snaps her fingers to bring forth a gauzy red mist between the first two fingers and thumb of her right hand. She wraps that mist about the fingers of her left hand, the semblance of a wide red ribbon forming about her target.
Effect upon target: A binding spell, it can be wrapped about the target's body to inhibit movement. It can be wrapped about eyes to inhibit sight, mouth to inhibit speech, and if applied with enough concentration, can be tightened to cut off the flow of blood or air.
Duration of spell: The target is 'bound' for a time equivalent to twice the time that Tayet spends on the spell. If she holds her position for ten seconds, the target is affected for twenty seconds beginning when she begins the spell. One minute of concentration equals two minutes of 'binding.' Tayet can only hold this position and spell for a maximum of three minutes, and that mandates that she be completely still and uninterrupted.
Limitations: Tayet may only use this spell when she is completely still. No walking, no movement other than her hands and fingers. She may do this binding for a total of ten minutes a day. After five minutes of usage, her maximum one-use duration drops to ninety seconds. After eight minutes of usage, maximum one-use duration drops to thirty seconds.
To avoid the attack: Causing Tayet to move in the slightest will cut the spell off. Magical shields can combat this ability as well.
TPA Application: Tayet may use this ability with the TPA to immobilize a ship or outside target in a cocoon of red mist for a maximum of thirty seconds. This leaves her completely drained, unable to use the attack for a twelve-hour period. Affected ships lose propulsion and 50% available shielding.

Power 2: Bound to Me
How is it summoned: This spell requires the use of Tayet's whip, a three meter long braided mass of ribbon that has the last half-meter of ribbon undone and fastened with small coppery metallic beads. Tayet uses the whip to catch part of her target (arm, leg, torso, etc.). Calling out the phrase, "Bound to me," she pulls on the whip. Assuming that the target is secured within the whip, Tayet is able to control the target like one could control a marionette.
Effect upon target: The target loses control of motor functions. The binding allows Tayet to tap into her telepathic abilities, moving the target as she sees fit.
Duration of spell: Fifteen seconds. The bond with an unfamiliar mind is highly unsettling, and Tayet cannot maintain the connection for any longer.
Limitations: Tayet controls motor functions only, not the usage of spells or other magic abilities. She can force the target to wield a weapon, however. Any target with a telepathic resistance is unaffected, and only suffers the effect of the whip striking and capturing. Tayet may use this three times in the space of an hour before it is rendered useless. She must rest for six hours before it can be used again.
To avoid the attack: Avoid the whip, or slice through the bonds. It's a magic weapon, and cutting it sends it to pocketspace for repair. Tayet must then summon the whip again for it to be repaired. The ribbons are a tightly woven fabric, but a good sharp sword will do the trick. Being magic, it is not affected by the elements (so no burning through it) and is resistant to temperature and moisture variations.
TPA Application: None.

Weapons Ability: Tayet is able to summon and use a whip that is element resistant. The whip is a three meter long braided mass of ribbon that has the last half-meter of ribbon undone and fastened with small coppery metallic beads. Whips are her weapon of choice, and she is extremely skilled with both the magic weapon as well as a regular leather whip that she's used for training since her days in the Academy.

Note: Tayet's telekinetic powers are limited to fabrics. A latent ability due to her Cygnian background, she is able to manipulate fabrics with little more than a thought. The fabric must be uniform and not contain metal. Also, Tayet's telepathy is limited to sending and receiving information. There is no sort of 'control' that she can exercise over a target without the use of her second spell.

Fighting Style: Cunning, strategy, and entrapment.

Weapons: Her custom whip, as described in the Powers section, as well as a scarf with garrotte wire sewn in.

Items: She carries a protocol and military etiquette manual in her pocketspace at all times. Other items can include a medkit as well as a portable translation device similar to that found on a ship. Unfortunately, it only translates GM-affiliated languages.

Strengths: She knows the rules, and follows them to a tee. In addition, she is devoted and loyal, always a member of the team. She has experience in comm systems, and could repair one in a pinch. She is determined and ruthless, and Rybekka is the last to give up on any goal she sets. Finally, her telepathy is an asset that she refuses to exploit, understanding that not everyone wants to have their brain picked when it's convenient.

Weaknesses: If Rybekka is going by the rules, then she assumes that she is always right. She tends to take her position of power rather seriously, reminding people of her rank if they forget. She is emotionally charged and extremely intense. There is no gray area when dealing with her. She tends to be rather vindictive when provoked.

Ways of Getting Your A$$ Beaten: Tayet has no defensive abilities, so attacking her at close range or relying upon elemental attacks is one course of action. Having a telepathic ability renders one attack useless, and gives the opponent an edge in combat. A target's speed or agility is an asset, at it keeps Tayet from ensnaring the target and using either of her spells. Finally, Tayet is on the short side, and does not possess any extreme physical abilities. She could be easily overpowered in a hand-to-hand situation if without her whip.
